Welcome to Balance Buddy. By using our application, you agree to the following terms:

1. Disclaimer of Financial Advice

  • Balance Buddy is a personal finance tracking tool and is intended for informational and educational purposes only.
  • We are not financial advisors, and the app does not provide financial, investment, or legal advice.
  • You are solely responsible for your financial decisions and the accuracy of the data you enter.

2. Limitation of Liability

  • Balance Buddy is provided “as is” without any warranties.
  • We are not liable for any financial losses, data loss, or damages resulting from the use or inability to use the app.
  • While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that calculations or reports will always be error-free.

3. Premium Subscriptions & Payments

  • Premium features (Premium, Plus, and Elite tiers) are available as one-time purchases via Google Play Billing.
  • All transactions are subject to Google Play’s terms and refund policies.
  • “Lifetime” access refers to the functional life of the application.

4. Data & Security

  • Your data is stored locally on your device. We do not maintain backups on our servers.
  • You are responsible for securing your device and maintaining your own data backups (e.g., via the JSON export feature).
  • If you delete the app or clear its data, your records will be permanently lost unless you have exported them.

5. Intellectual Property

  • All content, code, and design within Balance Buddy are the property of its developers and are protected by copyright laws.

6. Changes to Terms

  • We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
